Soccer practice

I signed Peter up for his first soccer class (ok, really they just run around kicking balls and playing red light/green light).  Seemed like a cute idea though.  Thanks to Grandma Kathy for taking him and being soccer mom!

Sounds like the "coach" was a little over the kids heads (class for 18-24mo olds).  My mom cracked up when the coach asked the kids to sit in a circle, say their name and their favorite ice cream flavor.  A little advanced for that age.......so all the parents introduced their kids.  Peter wasn't very good at following directions, but none of the other kids were as well.  He's not even 23 months yet!  I give him 5 stars for effort and creativity.
Warming up for his first practice!

Parachutes!

After practice grandma even took him to Toys R Us to play on all their cars.  Thankfully they did not bring one home ;o)

Ode to grandpas and grandmas

Peter loves his gamma's and gampa's - and he's even calling them by that gamma/gampa name now on occasion vs. just Pam, Jay, Bill and "Kassis" (Kathy).  Jake and I are so thankful for them and all that they do.  Feeling forever grateful...........and very very lucky.

Playing with my new potty......this is about the extent of the "use" it has gotten so far.

From Coast to Coast

Two weeks ago, I flew out to New Jersey for my cousin Karen's daughter's bat mitzvah (mazel tov Alyssa!).  My parents came with me, while my sweet husband stayed home and painted our entire house.  It was an adventure in flying, navigating TSA (got pretty close to losing it), rental cars, hotels, sick toddlers, and some serious socializing and catching up.  Peter was amazing.  We totally screwed up his sleep schedule and I'm paying for it now, but it was worth it.  I was so glad to get to introduce him to my family and to spend time with everyone.  I craved more time with each one of them, but was happy to get home to a familiar place, Jake's help and a beautifully painted house!

Bright and early at the PDX airport - we felt stellar, let me tell you

Happily watching "Mick Mouse"

Snuggling with "Ant-ih" (aunt Linds)

Playing blocks with Aunt Robbie

Loving some east coast bagels

Playing trucks with Aunt Charna

"tassen (thomas) the train!!"

Peter is so tired here but can't stop playing with cousin Will and Kyle's toys.

Party time!

Pooped!

Peter Temes, and Peter Temes!  They meet at last!

Cousin Joe!!!  We meet again!

Pushing grandma and grandpa apart so Peter can have a seat between them.  At least he didn't pee on grandpa on the flight home like he did on the flight out ;o)

We survived the trip and came home to a freshly painted house. Thanks for painting Jake and Jay!

WR 2014

I met up with my best college girlfriends for a girls only weekend in Seattle, and our 10yr reunion at UPS!  We had a blast and mostly talked, and walked, and talked some more.  It was tough being away from Peter, but he and Jake had a great weekend together.

And two girl bands collide!

"No I didn't?  Oh yes I did.  Both Peter and his little brother will be sporting Logger wear"

I even got to meet up with my two other favorite Loggers at the reunion: my grandma Millie and mom
