SNOW!!

We had record snow last week (9inches in our backyard!), record temperatures (0 degrees one night) and record days that it stuck around (6 days, school was cancelled for 5 days!)!  Not sure if that is official, but it is in my memory bank.  We had SO much fun.  We didn't have a sled, but improvised and Peter loved it.

Run fast to stay warm!

Jake and I ran the EWEB Run to Stay Warm 10k this Sunday.  It was a blast!  Grandma and Grandpa watched Peter and then I even carried him across the finish line.  Peter is some serious weight training these days!  Our friend Carolyn and Dan Phelan were visiting from San Diego as well.  Such a great weekend.

14 month photo shoot

Peter is actually 15mo+ now, but our friend Ashley Rexius Reich took some awesome pictures of Peter when he was 14mo old.  My dad came to play "the clown" and help with smiles.  Check them out!

Happy Halloween

Peter had two costumes today. First he was Peter pumpkin eater, then my little candy corn.  Our good friend Addie and her son Linos are visiting from Austria and we got to play with them too - such a treat!  Peter had a blast playing with Linos.  Linos has a little brother and sister that are Peter's age so Linos was really good about playing with Peter and teaching him all sorts of fun things (like jumping on the couch!)

So much fun playing with Linos today!

Eating a purple sweet potato - literally the same color as my shirt.  Bizarre!  Fitting for Halloween.

Changing Wheels

It's amazing the difference 6 years makes.........

Jake's big wheels

The Clifton "mini"
We took the plunge and joined the club.  And every, single, day, we get more excited about our new wheels.  Might I add, that it was Jake who had to talk me into even test driving a minivan at first..........(shoot, I wasn't supposed to share that).  Compared to the other crossovers that I was looking at, I just could not get over how much functional space there was in this rig!  Really though, it was the pop up sun shades that sold me.  Dang - I am such a mom.  Totally loving it.
